Aiming to further disseminate low carbon technologies in Mongolia, the JCM side event was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia during the International New Energy Summit on 23 May 2019. The Summit was supported by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia and organized by the Mongolian Renewables Industries Association. A special envoy of Mongolia on Climate Change, Dr. Batjargal Zamba, gave a presentation about Mongolian NDC targets and appropriate actions to raise their ambitions in the energy, industry, agriculture, and waste sectors.
